This event coincides with the MLB's Lou Gehrig Weekend, honoring the legacy of one of baseball's greatest while rallying for a crucial cause.

About the Event
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord, leading to loss of muscle control that strips away the ability to walk, speak, eat, and eventually breathe. Every year, approximately 5,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with ALS, facing a typical prognosis of 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
"Q4A Cure: Swingin' for Lou Street Bar-B-Q" offers a heartfelt blend of fun and philanthropy with two primary components:
Street Picnic
Purchase a ticket online for a meat plate meal and join us as we transform Court Street into a grand picnic venue, lined with long wooden tables!
Choose from a double meat plate ($35), a single meat plate ($25), or a kid's meal ($12). All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the ALS Foundation to support research and patient care.
Ice Bucket Challenge Revival
Did you know that 2024 is the 10 year anniversary of the viral ice bucket challenge?? To celebrate, we will be honoring teams with the longest chain of donations at the street Bar-B-Q picnic!
