Our second batch of Roebling Rare is finally here!

This project is special. 

Part of our core mission here at Smoke Justis is to celebrate the rich history of Covington while helping to build its exciting future. 

One of the ways we do this is by honoring the legacy of local trailblazers. We did name ourselves after a quirky Covington Blue Sox pitcher who wore ladies' silk stockings under his uniform for luck, after all...

But today, we honor John A. Roebling with our second batch of Roebling Rare Bourbon, our collaborative project with Covington's own Wenzel Whiskey. 

There are few local historical figures more prominent than Roebling. After arriving in the US from war-torn Germany in 1831, he went on to create industrial masterpieces that have withstood the test of time.

Today, the Roebling Bridge still escorts thousands into Kentucky's rich distilling heartland. 

We don't know if it's possible to capture the ethos of that bridge in a bottle of Kentucky bourbon, but we've certainly tried. We'll let you be the judge.
