Here's a fun fact about Mr. Weller:

Back in the 1800s, William Larue Weller’s whiskey was so well known that people started faking it, labeling their own barrels as “W. L. Weller & Bros.” to try and cash in on his name.

To stop them, Weller began marking his real barrels with a special stencil and even ran ads in Louisville newspapers warning people about the copycats.
